Progress – but still no name!

What a weekend it’s been! My daughter had her first dance recital. We had family visiting that I hadn’t seen in more than fifteen years. Central Texas is getting more rain than we’ve had in the last several decades (I think at one point I overheard someone say, “The ark should be coming any moment now.” Ha!)

But rainy weather seems to call for a few things –
1. Naps
2. Reading
3. Quilting

We had some stressful events in the last couple of days, though they were nothing that a little nap, some yummy gluten free biscuits, and working on my quilt couldn’t soothe.

So here’s a little peak into the construction phase of The-Quilt-Yet-to-Be-Named.

Once I get a thought into my head, it is so hard to quiet it. A drawing (in Inkscape. BTW, if you don’t have Inkscape, get it. It’s an open source illustrator application that is almost as robust as Adobe Illustrator but without the major money commitment.) of a flying geese quilt inspired by Season Evan’s Migration.
